Meet Jazmin Rivera, the warm and welcoming face of Present Moment Retreat’s reception desk. For the past 24 years, Jazmin has called Troncones home, and her deep love for this enchanting town shines through in every interaction.
A true believer in destiny and the interconnectedness of the universe, Jazmin finds solace and inspiration in the beauty of nature and the companionship of animals. In her world, there are four things she holds dear: the sacred ritual of the Temazcalli, an ancestral steam bath; her beloved canine companions, all 11.5 of them; her indomitable spirit; and her proud identity as a Mexican.
Despite her material joys, Jazmin remains grounded in the understanding that we are all energy beings, and she prioritizes the care and nurturing of her own energy as well as that of others. Each morning, she begins her day with a grateful heart, uttering the Nahuatl word “Tlazohcamati,” which translates to “THANK YOU,” a poignant reminder of the power of gratitude in shaping our reality.
With her genuine warmth, deep-rooted connection to her surroundings, and unwavering gratitude for life’s blessings, Jazmin embodies the spirit of hospitality and kindness that makes every guest feel at home at Present Moment Retreat.
