Lolys’ journey into the world of cooking began at a young age of 12 when she discovered her passion for creating delicious meals. Under the loving guidance of her mother and grandmother in their humble kitchen, Lolys learned the art of preparing regional specialties, and it’s no secret that she carries a touch of magic in her very talented hands.

As a dedicated cook for the morning shift, Lolys brings her years of culinary experience and her unwavering passion to the kitchen every day. With each dish she prepares, she infuses it with her unique flair and heartfelt dedication, ensuring that every bite is a culinary delight for our guests.

Outside of the kitchen, Lolys enjoys staying active by playing basketball and indulging in her love for dancing. Whether she’s shooting hoops on the court or moving to the rhythm on the dance floor, Lolys approaches life with energy and enthusiasm, spreading joy wherever she goes.

With her culinary expertise, warm personality and infectious passion for cooking, Dolores Campo aka Lolys adds a special touch to every meal served during the morning shift at Present Moment Retreat.

Claudia was also born in the fishing village of Zihuatanejo, just 30 minutes south of Present Moment. For the past 9 years she has been honing her cooking skills for local restaurants and working as a manicurist during her free time. Like so many of her teammates, Claudia’s greatest love is being with her children and cooking them beautiful, healthy and delicious meals.

Waiter

Oniver, fondly known as Oni, has been a beloved member of the Present Moment restaurant team since 2013, capturing the hearts of guests and colleagues alike. As a devoted family man and esteemed team leader, he radiates positivity and delivers skillful service with every interaction.

Off-duty, you’ll find Oni indulging in his favorite hobby: playing soccer. With a passion for the beautiful game, he finds joy and camaraderie on the field, showcasing his agility and teamwork skills. Additionally, Oni relishes in the simple pleasure of spending time at the cinema with his teammates, unwinding and forging deeper connections outside the restaurant environment.

With his unwavering dedication to both his family and his team, Oniver embodies the spirit of camaraderie and excellence, enriching the Present Moment experience for all who cross his path.

Meet Tomas De La Cruz Bazan, the vibrant soul who brings warmth and joy to the dining experience at Present Moment Retreat. As a waiter, Tomas embodies the essence of hospitality with an infectious enthusiasm that uplifts everyone around him.

With a genuine love for bringing joy to others, Tomas’s spirited demeanor and quick wit make him a favorite among both colleagues and customers alike. Whether he’s recommending the day’s specials or ensuring every guest’s needs are met with care and attention, Tomas’s passion for service shines through in every interaction.

Allow us to introduce Adela Barajas, a cherished member of our exceptional housekeeping team. Hailing from the heart of Troncones, Adela brings a deep sense of pride and dedication to her role. With a couple of years of service under her belt, Adela’s commitment to excellence shines through in every task she undertakes.

Beyond her role at Present Moment Retreat, Adela’s heart belongs to her beloved animalitos. With three dogs, two cats, and a parrot, she finds solace and joy in their company, cherishing every moment spent with her furry and feathered friends. Her passion for her job is only matched by the love she showers upon her animalitos, creating a harmonious balance between her professional and personal life.

With her unwavering dedication, warm spirit, and love for both her work and her animal companions, Adela Barajas adds a special touch of care and compassion to our housekeeping team, ensuring that every guest’s stay is as comfortable and inviting as possible.

Maintenance Manager

Alfredo was born in the coffee-producing town of Atoyac. At the tender young age of 6 he practiced in his uncle’s workshop learning skills of carpentry and mechanics. As a proud parent, he enjoys his days off with his family, playing basketball with friends, and collecting tools.
