Mary Langfield and Ruth Paisley

Mary is a Classical Homeopath, Certified Holistic Health Coach, Yoga Teacher, Ayurvedic Specialist, Energy Worker (Reiki and Thai Massage), and seeker of truth – physical, emotional, spiritual. She has always loved and needed physical activity in her life. However, when she found the spiritual teachings of yoga she finally felt whole.
Mary earned her 235 and 500 Hour RYT with Devanadi Yoga and continues to study with her teacher Yogarupa (Rod Stryker) and one day hopes to become Parayoga certified. In the meantime, she tries her best to weave in all the aspects of yoga she has learned into her classes: Mindful Sequencing, Asana, Bandhas, Pranayama, Mudra, Mantra, Meditation, Chakras, etc…join her for her weekly class or one of her workshops!

Ruth Paisley
Ruth began her yoga practice about 20 years ago. After several years of quite inconsistent but always beneficial practice, she became a more committed yoga student in 2012 with Mary Langfield as one of her regular teachers. A desire to learn more about yoga led her to teacher training at Devanadi Yoga in 2014. Nearing retirement from a teaching and school administration career, she completed the 235 YTT and began teaching a Silver Sneakers yoga class.
Retirement brought a rekindling of a love of movement and exercise. Ruth began taking weight training, Pilates, yoga, and spinning classes regularly. Looking to learn more she added Yin Yoga certification and training in Chair Yoga. She is currently pursuing training and certification in teaching Stott Pilates Mat and Intensive Reformer. And she just bought a bicycle!
Ruth currently spends her time in physical activity, enjoying good food, talking with friends, traveling to new and favorite places, gardening, and reading. She teaches Silver Sneakers Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Pilates classes. Classes with Ruth intentionally focus on the role of breath in movement and exploring the self as the basis for impact and connection to others and our world. Her favorite times are spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren especially when the arts or nature are a part of the experience.
